How do i check shutter count on 5d mk3

How do i check shutter count on 5d mk3. Someone said it was available on the utilities disc, but i can't find it.

Failure probablilites are typically statistically based. For example 90% probability that 90% of all widgets will last for 100,000 actuations. Note its not 100% probability of 100% of them.

Failures generally follow a "bathtub curve" - early failure of defective components, a period of good performance and then increasing age-related failures. Not unlike the human species.

The fact that one gets a great deal on a camera - five years old, perfect condition and only 5K shutter clicks - doesn't mean it won't fail two weeks after he bought it.

When I am looking at new vs used I always consider what might reasonably happen to the used during the time period of the new warranty and add that to the price of the used. If its still a good deal go for it.

it is not via exif.

Could you help me to figure out my shutter count as well?

I'm new to the Cannon world and would really appreciate the help. I've been having Err 20 & 30 coming up on my camera, so it's out of use. I thought it would be a good idea to find out the shutter count as well.

ERR 20 and ERR 30 indicate mechanical problems. If you send to Canon for repair hey can also give you shutter count.

I'm new to the Cannon Comunity and found this great chat thread. Can you help me figure out my Canon Mark iii 5D shutter count is?

I've recently come into some malfunctions (err 20&30) with my camera and wanted to find out how many frames my camera has taken as well.

I'm troubleshooting the error 20 problem on my own rather than send it in to Cannon.

Since I hope to fix it on my own. Can you tell me how to get the shutter count on my own?
