Yes. Don't try to install the wrong firmware even if I don't think it is possible with new camera models.
R5 1.1.1 is 46,1 MB
R6 1.1.1 is 46,8 MB
10D and 300D shared the same hardware and the same code. Someone cracked the firmware, modified it a little bit and succeded to install the 10D firmware into 300D. Canon won't let anyone do that again and that is probably why the 1D C firmware isn't public. 1D X and 1D C are similar.

I am not a fan of updating FW just because. Always have a reason to do it. Not all FW updates have something that affects you. Make sure you know what the update does.
IMHO, avoid any hacked or cracked FW and that includes Magic Lantern.
