T6i 300mm zoom - If I zoom in and take a picture, then use the + to zoom in closer, can a keep the closer pic someway

It is possible to edit photos in the camera.

That second process the, "+ to zoom in closer" as you put it, is not really a lens zoom. It's only a magnification of the camera screen, like holding up a magnifying glass.
On the T6i, I'm not sure if you can take a picture while in magnified view, or if you have to return to normal view in order to take the picture.
