I have been using my EOS R7 for the past 6 months and, until recently, while shooting still photos, I was able to use the movie recording (red button) to capture a quick video without having to switch the movie/on/off switch over to movie. On my most recent trip, this stopped working halfway through the trip. I have checked to be sure that the button is set to do movie shooting in the “customize buttons” menu. I’m not sure what is going on…?
