EOS R7 setting for focus guide and MF peaking in magnified view?

On the R7 in manual focus Is there a setting to show you the Focus Guide and MF Peaking when you magnify the view to x5 or x10? 

It works fine with no screen magnification.

Unfortunately peaking and the focus guide are not displayed when you magnify the image as you have found. There’s no waorkaround or special setting to overcome it at this time.

Being new to Canon I was kind of shocked when I found that out.  I wish they would add that in a firmware update if possible, but that would have happened a long time ago.

I totally get where you're coming from! I was surprised too when I first found out. It feels like such a basic feature, right? A firmware update would be awesome, but yeah, if they were going to do it, they probably would've by now. Hopefully, Canon will listen to user feedback in the future!
