EOS R5 Viewfinder Issues When Using Flash

HAGAR-90

Hey 🙂
I’m using canon R5
I have 2 questions:
1) Once I touch the screen to focus it automatically shoots- how can I cancel it so I can use the touch and drag in the screen and not only if I look in the viewfinder?

2) when I use the camera with speed light flash attached on it- sometimes the screen/viewfinder becomes black (even if I do half press)
Any ideas how to fix?
* my camera is updated with the latest version.

Exposure Simulation doesn't NOT work with flash photography. It is automatically disabled when a speedlite is used. You can set the camera to display full brightness or ambient lighting. When a speedlite is attached.

#1- sounds like you need to disable touch shutter.
