I am under the impression the webcam software is the software I need to upload my images from my R3.
I am just desperate to get my images backed up before I lose my mind!
I got my R3 recently and thought that my job would automatically write to both cards... lesson learned!! However, I don't have a port for the larger card, the usb hook up won't recognize my camera, and I can't get the software to correctly download do to not having a bootleg operation???
HOW can I get these images backed up ASAP!?

Agree that a CFexpress card reader would be the easiest and best long-term strategy.
I really enjoy the built-in CFexpress and SD (UHS-II) readers built into some of LaCie's external drives. One being a 2-disk RAID 1 unit I use for backups.

You would want to use EOS Utility, not EOS WebCam Utility.
But best is to use a card reader.

Make sure you are using a USB-C data cable. What kind of computer do you have? If you have a Mac, try plugging in the camera with a USB-C data cable, turn off wi-fi on the camera and run Image Capture.

Yes, I used that cable, but it is only charging the battery in the camera, not allowing me access the card files.
I have a Dell, not a Mac. I bet mac would be easier in this application, so that's a bummer!
I'll try turning the Wi-Fi off on the camera. However, I haven't been able to get any sort of interface software to work with the computer and camera. Is that what you are talking about with Image Capture? Can you give me more information on Image Capture? My google results are leading me in nonproductive circles.

ImageCapture is Mac system software.
But PC's should not be much different.
A CF card reader may be easiest.

Everyone has given good advise on getting your images transferred from the CF Express type B card, however, from this point forward you should go into your cameras menu and configure how you want your images stored. The camera will write to both the CFe and the SD card simultaneously, but you have to set that up. This will allow you to use your SD reader to download your images. Please be aware that most movie files will only be written to the CFe card.
Moving forward, go to the yellow wrench menu (it should be item 1 but my manual may be old) and select "Record func+card/folder sel." After selecting, you will get numerous options, so you will want to select "Rec. to multiple". This will record the same still image to both cards so you will then have a backup on camera and be able to down load your stills with either the built-in SD reader on your Dell (my Dell has one) or an SD reader.
As for your camera wanting to "charge" when plugged into a USB port, this may be the result of a Windows setting. Try typing "AutoPlay settings" in the Windows Search bar. The "Bluetooth & Devices > AutoPlay" pane should open. In the "Removable drive" pulldown, select "Open folder to view files (File Explorer)". Windows should be seeing your camera as a remote drive. The first time you plug in a device, or memory card for that matter, Windows will give you various options on how you want it to handle it. If you aren't quick enough, it picks the option itself, which isn't always what you want.
I've probably left stuff out, but I hope this helps.
