EOS M50 Videos won't download to iPhone

Okay so I have a canon m50 m1 and I use the cannon connect app on my iPhone to get my photos from the camera but the app won’t let me Download the videos it pops up with a yellow explanation mark that says insufficient space but I have plenty space on my phone is there another way to download 1080p or 4k footage to your iPhone ?

If you do a Google search for DSLR to iPhone, you'll find several references to using a Lightning adapter for either a USB cable or a card reader and the Photos app on your iPhone for transferring photos or videos from your camera to your iphone.
