Got my wife a 5D Mark IV and Nauticam Housing for UW photography. Problem with Quick Control menu
My wife shot with a 5D Mark II for the last decade, and is great with it...Now with the Mark IV, we NEED the quick control menu to "simulate" the same control menu in the LCD screen the Mark II had. It would be foolish to make her re-learn a new control system when this camera is supposed to be able to essentially duplicate the control options of the Mark II...but none of the manuals or tutorials, or even Microsoft CoPilot are able to provide the exact steps that actually work to accomplish this simulation...I tried, but the controls are not showing up when you hit the info button.... Does anyone know what I am referring to, and could you help us with this? Her Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/sandra.sfdj.edwards if you want to see her work.

Thanks...But we just visited the Delray Beach Camera Shop, and the owner spent all of 30 seconds to click a button, taking it off of the video shooting mode ( that we did not know it was in), and suddenly it was looking the way Sandra wanted it to 🙂

There might be a forum member familiar with the housing. Hopefully, they will see your post.
Have you tried contacting the manufacturer of the housing? Canon is [not] able to provide support for third party hardware and accessories.

Thanks for the response. In our issue, it is not the housing related view, it is the Mark IV itself, not having the same visual in the LCD for controling F stops, iso, temp, mode, shutter speed, etc. With the housing you see THROUGH a port window into the lcd on the back of the camera, and Sandra would make instant changes in many rapidly forming underwater shot opportunities when exciting marine life suddenly appears--the Mark II had exactly the controls she wanted then..and now 🙂

Hello, Dan!
Since I don't have the mark II (nor the housing), I can't compare what the difference in control options are so I don't know what shes missing. But I do have the mark IV. The only place I can see where you can customize the LCD and Quick Controls are in the Wrench 3 menus, so you may want to browse that feature set. That's with f/w ver. 1.4.0 but should be the same as 1.3.3. 1.4.0, which was just recently released, just adds some security features for the Canon image upload site, not the p/w stuff they just added to the R series cameras.
