Does the 1.4 111 telephoto extender work with the EF 100-400 1:4.5-5.6 Lens on the Rebel T4i

It will work in the sense that you will get a 1.4X magnification, but the Rebels won't autofocus since f/4.5*1.4 results in an effective aperure smallewr than f/5.6.
