Just bought a Canon R5 Mark II. The videos can be reviewed on the LED screen of the camera. But the MP4 files loaded onto Light Room appear to be blank. A message appeared on screen: a codec required is not installed on the computer. The files are also not recognized by PC Windows 11. Never had this problem with the original Canon R5.
My Video setting: 4K-U 29.97 LGOP; Rec Format: XF-HEVC S YCC422 10bit; Custom Picture: Off; Picture Style: Standard.

You will need an appropriate tool to convert the footage in to a codec that Lightroom and windows supports, the manual does mention that this movie format is not supported in all software.

Thanks for your input. Problem solved by changing the Rec Format to XF-HEVC S YCC420 10bit.
