In September of 2023, I purchased the R5. About a week ago The dial beneath the Mode button quit working. Any suggestions about how to fix this?

go into the menu -> C.Fn3 page -> Customize Dial -> and verify that the quick control dial 2 is not set to off.
if that doesn't work, you may have to send it in for warranty repair.

I have same issue. Have R5 for about a year and it suddenly stopped working. Camera is hardly used. In like new condition never even bumped. Looks to be a hardware issue. I updated hardware, reset camera changed setting modes. So annoying. I purchased used and can't get warranty repair
