Canon 70D film - iPhone connection?

Hello,

Is there a way to connect my iPhone to my Canon 70D on film mode? I want to record and watch it from my iPhone screen, but it seems to only be an option on photo mode with apps I've found.

If not, is there any DSLR that allows that, or only handycams?

Hello Bobby34, 

The EOS 70D can connect to the Camera Connect app to take and record images- still pictures- but not video.  

The Camera Connect app is able to handle video transfer from compatible EOS DSLR cameras provided the movie was recorded in the MP4 recording format.  If the movie is in the MOV recording format the application is unable to transfer it.
