iPhone 16 Max and EOS R5ii - Video Freezing and Reconnecting Consistently on Canon Connect App

Does anyone have a flawless experience using their iphone as an external larger monitor even with using a usb cable to connect to the camera connect app.

For me it works fine for a bit and then the video freezes and it goes for a reconnection reset. It just makes the entire experience useless. The freezes are often enough to completely dissuade you from attempting to use your iphone screen as a bigger monitor.

I have zero issues using an external monitor with HDMI. But you do not have any touch screen functions. I just wish canon made an external screen that acts just like the screen on the camera but is much bigger in size.

Or make the camera connect app work just as good as the eos utility 3 live shoot mode. I have rarely had any connection issues using the live shoot mode on mac computers.

I typically use the camera connect app with my R50v.  However, I don't have any issues with the screen freezing during remote shooting.  

Camera control:

Take a look at the atmos shinobi II or Ninja TX.
