Am seeing the black line at the top of the screen almost like a tick edge line compared to  the other sides. It shows on live view and on the photos after the shot. Please I need help as to how do I get this black line off. Is it something to do with the shutter or.

Part of a shutter blade? How does it look like if you remove the lens, put the camera in manual sensor cleaning mode and take look inside your camera?

Hi Stephen23,

If you could post an actual image from the camera that demonstrates the issue, then that would help us get a better sense of what you're facing.

This is on every photo? You are sure you don't have something in front of the camera/lens? It really doesn't look like a shutter blade but I suspect it probably is. It will have to go to Canon for service. Call 1 (800) 652-2666 to make sure the Mk III is still serviceable.

EOS 1DX and 1D Mk IV and less lenses then before!

Yes, that's on every photo. Even when I change lense, it's still the same.

Shutter blade or mirror, but I guess shutter blade due to the angle.
