A ring appears on the screen when shooting with EOS R5C and Canon RF5.2mm F2.8 Dual Fisheye

I use EOS R5C with Dual Fisheye5.2mm F2.8 to shoot VR content.I found that a regular circle would appear on the R5C screen. No matter how I tried to change the parameters, the circle would always exist.I have replaced three R5Cs for this reason, and no surprise, the same problem still occurs. Now I can only guess that there is something wrong with the lens, but I don't understand what exactly is wrong.

After my test, I found that when I installed this lens, put on the lens cap and adjusted the ISO to the highest level (of course I can't do this in daily shooting, I was just testing), a red ring would appear on the screen, as shown in Figure 1. I don't know what it is. But when I installed other lenses, the ring disappeared.Again, when I tried stopping down the aperture, the degree of the ring diminished, but it was still there.

The methods I have tried so far are:

1. Recalibrate black balance Calibration

2.Try to avoid direct sunlight

3.Replace with new R5C

4.Update camera operating system

All attempts failed.

What I cannot accept the most is that the frequency of this ring appearing is random. When I used R6 mark 2 and R5 with this lens, the ring did not appear, but when I changed to R5C for the second time, the ring did not appear either. But in the end, it will definitely appear, and once the ring appears, it will never disappear.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Does this mean the Canon VR system will no longer work properly and what can I do?IMG_7822.jpgIMG_7823.jpg

Thank you very much, I tried your suggestion and it was very useful! Thank you! Let me explain the specific operation to prevent others from having the same problem as me and being unable to solve it:

1.Install a lens that supports peripheral illumination correction。

2.turn off peripheral illumination correction in the menu.

3.Install Dual Fisheye.

The ring disappears!
