Or a local camera store, but you are much more likely to get them to take it on trade for a new camera or lens.  Just in time for Christmas if they have a buyer!

>> Owns/Owned both Canon EOS mirrorless full-frame and APS-C cameras and associated RF, RF-S and EF adapted lenses - inventory tends to change on short notice. Same for flashes, tripods, bags, straps, etc.
Plus>> Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 Printer

If you're lucky enough to have a local camera store.

We used to have three in Bakersfield: Messemer's Photo, Towne Photo, and Henleys. Messemers went belly up by the late 70s and the second two took up the slack, Towne was gone by the mid-80s with Henleys continuing on. The problem with Henley's was price. They were nearly double the price of Los Angeles. Henley's failed for good 6 years ago, but it existed in name only for 5-7 before that. My first camera came from Pico Camera (long gone) in LA before I started going to Frank's Camera (long gone) in Highland Park (LA) which necessitated going to Canoga Camera (long gone) Canoga Park (LA). Anymore I just order from B&H.

Yeah, I used to frequent Ritz and Wolf Cameras - no longer around in brick and mortar.  It was great to go and actually see and touch gear and there was a very active used market.  I just found out there is a shop nearby so I hope to go and give them some of my business in 2026!  After visiting Vermont and enjoy the "buy local" culture there I want to do more to support local retailers.  I haven't seen any swap meets - might check one out if it pops up.

I remember just looking at cameras at Frank's Camera in Highland Park. Sure, I may have been there to buy a lens, but the amount of new and used cameras to look at were addicting.
