EOS R5 registration issue: Serial number invalid

I purchased my R5 back in 2022 from Adorama. When trying to register my R5, it is giving me the error attached below. I am wondering if it may have been a kit originally but got separated by Adorama. I did not purchase it as a kit, but I'm wondering if that may be why I'm receiving the below error. Has anyone else run into this, and if so, how did you get it resolved? 

"The serial number you have entered is invalid for one or more of the following reasons:

1) The serial number does not match the product you have selected (FCC ID which starts with "AZD" is often mistaken for serial number.)
2) The serial number entered indicates this product was not intended for sale in the United States and is ineligible for registration and support in the U.S."

Is the third digit of the S/N a 2 or a 3? 2 is North American market; 3 is EU market.
