Activate movie shooting notification

“Press <📷> button to activate movie shooting” notification won’t go away on my screen. It’s causing it to not let me see “info” or adjust any manual settings or shooting settings

Read the instruction manual about enabling and disabling movie mode.  Your camera seems to be in movie mode.

I am having the same problem with my 7D.  When I turn the camera on, it automatically goes into Live mode and I can't get it out of live mode.

Same answer, make sure the movie/live view switch is set to "live view" (The little screen)

Done that.  it will not leave live view.

Sounds like the Start-Stop button is defective. It probably needs repair.

that's what I am thinking
