750d won’t upload

Hi there, just came back from holiday and tried to upload my pics from my Canon 750d to my computer but to no avail, for some reason the computer is not picking it up at all. I tried my 650 and that was fine and I transferred the card and that worked and downloaded them. I tried it on my laptop and still no joy, even checking the wi-if on the menu button was fine. Has anyone any idea what’s happening. Martin

When you said wi-fi was fine you meant it was switched off?

Did the camera connect previously or is this the first time you tried?

Same cable used for the 650D and the 750D?

Hi Jrh, thanks for the reply. Had the camera a few years now and always connected and yes the wi-if is disabled and yes same cable. Martin

Strange. Go into the menus and reset all camera settings. If that doesn’t work it’s possible there’s a failure in the USB port or the circuit board.

Thanks John, really appreciate the reply. I will try later as I have just inherited my two young grandsons for the afternoon. I will let you know as soon as I can

You can always resort back to the trusty old SD card reader.
