5D Mk III issue with SD and CF memories?

Today I took pictures of some blue and yellow macaws and the both memories inserted. The CF for RAW and the SD for JPEG.

To my surprise when I noticed all the pictures in both memories were JPEGs then I verified the following situation:

- If you swap CF memories while the camera is ON, the system switches the RAW option for memory 1 to JPEGs as it is in memory 2

Have this happened to you too?

Hi ehouli,

The camera does this when you change the memory card with the camera powered on.  We recommend that you power the camera down when changing memory cards.
