The lens has been removed from the shipping delay list.  Delivery times seem to have improved a bit.  People are claiming 2-3 months on average recently.  I'm still waiting and am in to my second month now 😀

I ordered from B&H on June 28, received it on September 18.  It was well worth the wait.  By the way, I was expecting it to take six months.

My 200-800mm ordered on 9/18 just shipped so the backlog is down to 6 weeks.

I ordered mine on September 18 and today I got notice that it shipped today, and I will receive it on Monday, November 2nd.  Thats a month and a half, 45 days waiting time for me.  Rick is also getting his on Monday, November 2, 2024.  Woo-Hoo
