Hi, i run a photobooth business and the M50 Mk1 has been serving me well for the past 3 months.
My connections are M50 to usb to Surface pro 6 and for power it'll be CPS ac adaptor and flash will be those generic 1 pin hotshoe with sync cord to my external strobe (300di).
Recently my flash just don't fires at times like maybe every 5 shots, there will be 1 that the flash didn't fire.
Also, when the booth is stationed with no activity the flash also went on a rampage randomly fires.
My slave switch is off.
So due to this incident I change 3 different strobe all behaves the same.
I also change the hotshoe and sync cord (new) it's the same too.
In the end I even change to an older 700D and it's the same either!!!! What happen!!

Greetings Aden,
I am sorry to hear about the flash firing issue you are experiencing with your EOS M50 camera. Per your description, you have performed most of the troubleshooting steps like testing different strobes, cords and even a different camera. At least it appears that the issue is not with the camera bodies. Per your description, it does not appear that you have tested a different flash unit. You may test to see if the main flash you are using is the cause of the issue since you did mention that you have tested different strobes.
