EOS R50 not turning on

Holdz

Hello, I bought a canon EOS R50 brand new about 6 months ago and have only used it about 5 times and it won’t turn on today when I went to use it. The only sign of life is the green LED that comes on when I plug the power cable in, when I flip the power switch nothing happens at all. I e tried taking out the battery and SD card and putting them back in a couple times but no luck. It has been treated with care and never dropped.

Any help is appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum:
If you leave the battery in the camera for months it will almost certainly discharge - that is not recommended as a practice.  If you have not done so, can I suggest charging the battery back up to full power and trying again?
To reduce battery drain, turn on Airplane Mode unless you are actively using WiFi or Bluetooth.
