Comparable lens AE-1 to Rebel T4i

I used a Canon AE-1 Program 35mm film camera for many years. What lens for the T4i would be comparable to the FD 50mm 1:1.8 lens that I used with the AE-1?

There isn't a direct equavalent but these are what you could consider if you want a prime rather than a zoom. (assuming you're not looking for a top of the line lens).
