55-250mm lens photographs blurry around edges ? why ?

I have purchased a 55-250mm lens , most of the pictures taken above 100mm are blurry around edges !

Is there something wrong with the lens or my settings ?

You have sample image? It's hard to tell unless we see some samples.

Need samples PLUS the settings used. Also is there a filter installed on it.
