The gird is printed using the same ink that is used for printing text. If you have already done 2 cleanings and 1 deep cleaning, there may be a issue with the printer and it would require service.
If your printer is still in warranty and you have a copy of the printer's proof of purchase, Canon can perform a warranty exchange. If you printer is outside of it's 1 year warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program.
