pixma mg3620 ink cartridge lock lever "missing"

I just bought a new pixma mg3620 and the "ink cartridge lock levers" that are referenced in the setup video are not present. How can I install the cartridges without those?

Your PIXMA MG3620 would require service.  If it was purchased less than a year ago, your PIXMA MG3620 is in warranty.
