canon pixma mg3600 series 3 "power light and the caution light blinks"

my printer will not respond to anything. it alternatively blinks between the power light and the caution light.  no other response.  power has been disconnected and turned back on multiple times over weeks.  the front has been opened and the carriage does not move or make a sound.  its totally dead

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA MG3600 series.  The exact model number should appear on the front of the unit at the lower right.
