I bought a G4210 Megatank printer yesterday. Installed it. Today, March 24, 2019, the magenta tank shows half full. That is impossible since I have printed only six sheets. Anyone else seen half-full ink bottles in a new package? I will be chatting with Canon about this on Monday (tomorrow).

Can only speculate in your situation. However, I can tell you that many printer manufacturers only include "special" low capacity cartridges with new printers. Not saying Canon does, but many other company's do this so its possible.
1/2 tank for 6 pages doesn't sound right.
