I need to increase the intensity or contrast when scanning a document on either the mx 890 or 922 printer. I can't find a control to do this. I am able to increase the intensity when copying but the copy command cuts off the edges of the document. Scanning keeps the edges intact, but won't make the scan darker.
Is there a way to do this? I tried scan utility and image garden.

Hello.
You can make adjustments to the brightness and contrast by using our Scangear interface.
For the MX922, open the IJ Scan Utility and make sure that the correct scanner is selected at the top of the program. Then click Scangear to open this menu.
For the MX892, open the MP Navigator and make sure that the "scanner driver" option is selected on the left before performing a scan.
