TS9120 error code 1660

Hi everyone, I am trying to use a third party ink cartrage from a company that I have bought from on my MS7120 printer. My question is, how can I bypass the 1660 error code? I am sure that you can use 3d party ink cartrages, so there must be a way to bypass this error code. Any help is appreciated.

Ink tanks that were designed for a PIXMA MG7120 cannot be used with the PIXMA TS9120.  For the PIXMA TS9120, make sure that you are using CLI-281 and PGI-280 series ink tanks.
