TR8620 won't scan. Says "Set the PC to Start Scanning" *HELP*

My Canon TR8620 will not scan. It prints fine (through Wifi). But when I ask it to scan, it tells me to "Set the PC to Start Scanning." What does this mean, and how what do I need to do?

Hello RodKrafta,

That message will usually mean that the scanner software/drivers needed to scan are not installed on the computer or the correct computer name was not selected when you started the scan using the operation panel on the TR8620. You can try scanning and selecting the computer using the steps found in the link HERE. If that does not work, it will usually mean the drivers are not installed and I would suggest trying to download and install the setup for the TR8620 using the link found HERE.
