Scanning Active Screens with PIXMA MX320

TwinSteel
Apprentice

Occasionally I find myself needing to scan the screen of an active mobile device, a smartphone or a tablet (that won't  allow a screenshot to be taken), but if the high intensity Scanning light is on - there is so much glare off of the device glass display that the content is completely washed out.

Is there any mfgr maintenance/setup code that can be entered by the keypad that will disable the scanning lamps but let the cameras to get a scan of the device screen ?

We recommend updating to a more modern printer and reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialist who will go over the best options for upgrading your printer. They can be reached at 866-443-8002.
