Print head too far out of alignment? Is printer trashed?

I have a Canon MX892. I have been refilling the OEM cartridges and resetting the chips for 18 months now with no issues. Finally the click-in tab on blue OEM cartridge cracked, but it is still loosely attached. it is somewhat floppy when it is out of the printer, but solid when it is in the printer. I decided to try some refillable cartridges which worked fine for a while, but then they wouldn't reset after a refill. So I put the OEM cartridges back in and now I can't align the print head. It seems to be too far out of alignment the salvage.

I have attached photos of my manual print head pages. I can't do an auto alignment because I lost the special paper.

Is my printer ruined?

Hi jaj23,

If you do not have the MP-101 paper to perform the auto print head alignment, you can use plain 8.5 x 11 paper.  When inks do not print correctly, we recommend performing at least one cleaning and two deep cleanings to try and resolve the issue.  We also recommend installing a new genuine Canon ink tank in the printer.

If the printer still does not print correctly after inserting new genuine ink tanks, performing the cleanings and alignments, it will require servicing to resolve the issue.  Please Contact Us for your servicing options.

Thank you. It was the ink tanks that were bad.
