Hi,
I have a Pixma 6020 which was purchased in 2017.
It has just failed, initially with code C000. I've opened it up, and found a gear wheel (cog) had fallen off. I reinstalled it, and it keeps falling of - I get two different codes, either C000 or 6000.
I searched, and discovered that there is a Service Notice for this problem (see https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/product-advisories/detail/Service-Notice-P...) where Canon indicate they will repair or replace the printer.
Does anyone have any recent experience getting this issue resolved (I realize the printer is 3 years old), and is there a way to report this issue online or via email (communicating during the work day by phone is a real problem for me)?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi SteveFixit,
I recommend contacting our chat team. To get to the chat feature, click HERE. Once in the chat box, ask to speak to a live person. You will be asked to create a Canon account and once that is done, you will be able to connect with one of our chat agents Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm ET, excluding holidays.
We look forward to hearing from you.
