I have a Pixma TR8620 printer that I moved to a different computer. The computer is running Windows 10, I installed Adobe Acrobat Reader, made it the default for PDF documents, installed all the drivers for the printer, and when I try to print, it brings up the print window, but when I tell it to print it gives me an error - without an error code, and does not print.
I do not know where to start to troubleshoot this. Can someone please help me? Thanks!

1. When you select Print in Acrobat Reader does the Canon printer driver show up?

Yes, it does. Then it thinks for a long time and it gives me an error - sadly, no number. But, I am thinking it may not be the printer. I just tried printing the document on my husband's computer which has an 8620a, and it failed there too. But, I also tried printing an older pdf document from my computer from before the switch and it failed too. Basically, it is not printing anything pdf.

Ok, something weird is going on, but it also gives me an error when I try printing a jpeg. So, probably a connection error for this new computer, although that does not explain the problem on my husband's computer! I may have to wait for tech support to get home for dinner... 😀

So, here is what I have found out, and another question. My husband got it working, but the print dialogue now shows two printers Canon TR8600 series, and Canon TR8600 Series HTTP. The second one is the one that works, the first one, which is the one I always used in the past, does not. Is this something new? What does it mean?
Thanks so much!
