I am getting an error message when installing the software for the the PIXMA printer TR8520. It happens while installing the driver. The error message reads:
New port could not be created. : 0001
I have verified my Windows 11 is fully up to date and uninstalled / restarted / installed the MP driver / restarted and still getting the same error.
The printer is connected via home wifi network. I have been able to print documents but cannot use the scanner function.
