I am looking for a better cost alternative to the genuine Canon photo paper. I am using a #PixmaMG3620. I have seen a few on Amazon that I would like but I know that this printer uses a dye and pigment based ink system, which most brands say their paper is only good for one or the other. These are the two I have been looking at. If there is something else you recommend I would greatly appreciate it. I would like 8.5x11 inches and glossy finish. Thanks!

Either of them should be fine. Printer use dye inks for everything but black text. Pigment black is used for text.

Photo papers are not specific for dye or pigment inks. Inkjet printers use both, so any paper for inkjet printing is all you need.
