Paper jam error flashing light ip7250. No jam. Can I reset?

Amber light flashing 10 times indicating paper jam on pixma ip7250. No paper jam in sight. Can I reset?

Try powering down and unplugging. Let sit for an hour or so. That sometimes works.

Hi john, thanks for reply. I have tried your suggestion already I'm afraid. In fact I left it for two weeks but no success. I have thoroughly checked for paper and there is nothing there. So I was hoping to just reboot the printer as it were. Any other suggestions ? Thanks again

Hi, I've contacted their customer support who pretty much suggested I just bin it and buy another! Not very helpful. Thanks for trying to help though.
