PIXMA G3501 black ink won't print, flashing green and orange lights

Hi, When I went to photocopy the paper came through blank as there was no ink so I followed an online tip to load the tubes up with ink. When I printed out the test page it showed that the black wasn't working so I went through the process again and the green and orange lights started flashing simultaneously and I can't get it to reset. I've tried switching off for 5 mins and restarting to no avail.

Any suggestions?
