I got an error 5100. I did find a small paper jam and removed but it was still stuck. Then cleaned the encoder film but now the cartridge is slamming into the sides. Please help :-(.

HERE is some information about the 5100 error and how to try and resolve it. If following the steps does not resolve the error, your TR4522 would need to be replaced.
If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
