PIXMA iX6820 Need Printer's User Name and Password

"Show Printer Web Page", ix6820

In the ix 6800 series print dialog I only have 'Supply Levels" and "Show Printer Web Page"
When I go to the web page I have a user name and password, but I do not know what they are.
What is the typical username, my computer username?
Is there a way to reset these items so I can see the webpage?

Hi,

By default, the user name should be ADMIN and the password would be the serial number of your printer. Make sure to enter the first four letters of the serial number as capital letters.

Hello, I've just installed my ix6820 and tried to get on the printer's web page, using ADMIN as the User Name and the serial number (letters in caps!)...to no avail.  What do I do when this doesn't work?

This isn't working for me with my new 6820. Has this changed recently? Could it be something else?

Hi. I've tried entering my serial number with caps as my admin password for my new Pixma iX6820 when setting up the wireless printing (with a cable), but it is not working. I've also tried "canon" and "admin". I've also tried resetting to factory defaults and trying these passwords again. Still doesn't work.

I'm using I'm using macOS 14. Has the password changed?

I'm having the same issue.  Password isn't working and the reset isn't working.  Has anyone resolved this?

Yes! In the manual there are instructions for printing the network configuration page. (I can't remember exactly how, but it's by pushing the cancel button for some number of seconds.) The very bottom of the page has the default password listed. And it's NOT the serial number! I hope this helps!
