I'm trying to scan with my TS6420a but have no success! I can print no problem from smartphone, PC, tablet. I've installed the Canon IJ Printer Assistant tool, the scan app from windows, does not find scanner. I have windows 11. please help me.

It will walk you through the whole setup process. It'll also uninstall & re-install if necessary.

I tried this and still not working. It did remove the Canon IJ utility.

this didn't work either! it just added a copy of my printer

Could it be my Bitedefender virus protction? I don't think I have a firewall installed but how can I know for sure?

bought in 2020 but I was able to scan before and I've had the same virus protection. the only other thing is this is a new laptop.

interesting though that the copy doesn't acknowledge the existence of scanner at all like the original printer
