That sounds really frustrating, especially with the printer being practically brand new. Since it started acting up right after the low-ink notification, I’d first try replacing the cartridge and doing a full power reset, then remove and re-add the printer on your devices. If it still drops the wireless connection and struggles even when wired, it may be a firmware or hardware issue rather than your network. At that point, I’d contact Canon support while it’s still under warranty.
