PIXMA TS3522 Is it supposed to power off when not in use?

Hi I have a Pixma CanonTS3522 All-in-one Inkjet printer, my question is is it supposed to power off when not in use because my turns off, I thought they were supposed to stay on.  Thank you

Your model printer does have an auto power off feature. For more information about the auto power feature of your printer, please click HERE. The article is for a TS3520 but your TS3522 has the same feature.
