I have a Pixma TR8520. Since updating to macOS Sequoia 15.2 on my iMac M1, I received an error message when booting up stating that some Canon software would not work in future versions of macOS. So I downloaded and installed all updates. Now when I scan a document with IJ Scan Utility Lite 4.1.2, the white background of all documents is light gray. When printing the document, it also prints with a light gray background. It did not do this in the previous version. I saw a firmware update V1.0, that I have not installed yet, not sure 1.0 could be an update. This problem makes the scanner not usable for me.

I restored V3.3.1 from a Time Machine BackUp, and it is working as before with a clear white background. I don't think I will risk Firmware Update V1.0.
