PIXMA TR4722 error code 1651 after replacing ink, won't print from iPad

I have a Cannon TR4722 printer. I recently changed out the ink cartridges. They were sent to me by Cannon directly. Now I keep getting the code 1651 and the message, printer  cannot communicate with the ink cartridges.  My printer is on line. Any ideas? Thank you , Stephen Casper.

I fixed my printer. Apparently, the cartridges that Canon sent me for free , needed to be set up with a subscription service. My printer is not compatible with their subscription service. Their cartridge numbers are CL276 PPP and PG-275 PPP. The ones  that work are numbers CL-276 and PG-275. I got them from Amazon.

I had this same thing happen to me a couple of days ago when I tried to print. For whatever reason my printer just stopped communicating with my wifi. I did all of the wifi checks and everything. Long story short, I was able to fix it today by running the master set up on my computer as if it were a new printer I was adding to it. Since it still has the same serial number, it still linked up with my print plan and was finally able to communicate the ink/printer info so I can print again. It is really random that it happened. I am not sure why.

I did try that and it still did not help. Thanks for your response.

Im sorry but this their error and they should replace for free.  This is not one of the printers on the Auto Replenishment program.  Why would they not put out a product that is not compatible?  Makes me not want to buy another Canon product ever again.
