Hi, billxman!
So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which printer model you're using. To date, Canon USA hasn't released a printer with the model number you mentioned, though we have put out the similarly-named PIXMA TR4720. Could you check to see if this is what you actually have?
Also, please let us know exactly which operating system is running on your computer (i.e. Windows or macOS, and which version thereof). That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!
