PIXMA TR4520 Product registration issue

Attempting to register my PIXMA TR4520 series printer, purchased at Amazon and it balks at the serial number. Either Amazon shipped a printer not made for sale in the United States or the algorithm is malfunctioning. I took a photo of the sticker, can read it in enlarged view, even tried using both Zero and capital o. No love.

Canon used to have good support. Now they have none. Which is why I will no longer buy them.

When buying from Amazon, the only authorized Canon seller is Amazon, so you must verify that you're getting a product that is both sold and fulfilled by Amazon.com. If it's being sold or fulfilled by any third party, you're getting a product that isn't authorized by Canon USA, and is considered a Gray Market product. The printer came directly from Canon as a warranty replacement. The printer finally figured it out and is now printing.
